Choose the level of winter property care that works for you. Prices below are starting prices for a typical single or double residential driveway. Your final quote will depend on driveway size, access, walkway requirements, and the services selected.

BASIC

— Essential Snow Removal

Starting at $119/month

For customers who need their main driveway and entrance walkway cleared after qualifying snowfalls.

Includes:

Residential driveway snow removal.
Driveway entrance clearing.
One primary walkway.
Main entrance access.
Snow placed in reasonable designated areas on the property.
Regular service triggered by 5 cm or more of snowfall, after the snowfall has stopped or sufficiently ended for safe clearing.

Not included:

Routine de-icing or salting.
Freezing-rain response visits.
Extra de-icing visits.
Vehicle snow clearing.
Additional walkways.
Snow hauling or specialized snowbank removal.

STANDARD

— Snow & Ice Protection

Starting at $169/month

For customers who want regular snow removal with additional ice-management services.

Includes everything in Basic, plus:

Routine de-icing of contracted areas when reasonably necessary.
Freezing-rain response when significant icy conditions develop and service is safe and available.
Reasonable clearing of municipal snow berms at the driveway entrance after municipal plowing, when accessible.
Two additional de-icing visits per month, subject to the package terms.

Large, frozen, or heavily compacted snow berms that require specialized equipment may incur an additional charge after a quote is approved.

PREMIUM

— Complete Winter Property Care

Starting at $229/month

For customers who want additional winter access and convenience services.

Includes everything in Standard, plus:

Exterior loose-snow clearing for up to two vehicles.
Up to four vehicle-clearing visits per month.
One additional residential walkway or access route.
Primary exterior steps, entrance landing, and porch access.
Four additional de-icing visits per month.
Reasonable redistribution of snow within designated on-property snow-storage areas.
One end-of-season cleanup of contracted winter-access areas, when weather conditions permit.

Vehicle clearing does not include guaranteed removal of bonded ice. Snow hauling and major mechanical snowbank removal are not included.

All prices are starting prices before applicable taxes. Final pricing and included services will be stated in your written quote and service agreement. Driveway size and property conditions may affect the price.

How Our Snow Removal Works

1. The 5 cm Snowfall Trigger

Regular snow-removal service is triggered when snowfall reaches 5 cm or more at the property and the snowfall has stopped or sufficiently ended to allow safe primary clearing.

The 5 cm trigger applies to regular snow-removal service. It does not automatically apply to separate ice-control services included in Standard or Premium.

2. Post-Storm Clearing

We generally schedule primary driveway and walkway clearing after the snowfall has stopped. During prolonged storms, an intermediate safety clearing may be considered when reasonably necessary and safe.

Service timing depends on storm duration, road conditions, municipal operations, route demand, equipment, and worker safety. We do not guarantee an exact arrival time.

3. Clear Service Terms

Before work begins, we confirm the selected package, service areas, price, billing schedule, and any additional charges in writing.

Important Service Information

Snowfall and Service Timing

The regular 5 cm snowfall trigger applies to qualifying snow-removal events. We normally perform primary clearing after snowfall has stopped or sufficiently ended. Weather emergencies, prolonged storms, unsafe access, road closures, or equipment problems may delay service.

Ice and Freezing Rain

Ice control is provided only where included in the selected package or separately approved. Ice may remain bonded to the surface, and complete ice removal cannot be guaranteed, especially while freezing rain or refreezing continues.

Snow Placement

Snow will be placed in reasonable, designated areas on the customer's property, subject to applicable City of Ottawa rules. We will not intentionally deposit snow on public roads, sidewalks, municipal property, a neighbor's property, or other prohibited areas.

Property Access

Customers must move vehicles when necessary, identify hidden obstacles and hazards, secure pets, and keep contracted areas reasonably accessible. Areas blocked by vehicles or other obstacles may not be serviceable until access is restored.

Extra Work and Charges

Services outside the selected package are not automatic. We will explain the scope and price and obtain customer approval before proceeding. Custom-quote services are subject to availability.

Written Agreement and Customer Rights

The selected package, contract dates, service areas, payment terms, cancellation provisions, and all agreed charges will be recorded in a written agreement. Applicable Ontario consumer-protection rights continue to apply, including any statutory cancellation rights.

FAQ

Do you clear snow while it is still falling?

Primary clearing normally takes place after a qualifying snowfall has stopped or sufficiently ended. During prolonged storms, an intermediate clearing may be considered when reasonably necessary and safe.

Do you remove snow from the entire property?

Only the areas listed in your quote and service agreement are included. Additional walkways, snow hauling, and specialized snowbank removal may require a separate quote.

Does freezing rain require 5 cm of snow?

No. Where freezing-rain response is included in the customer's package, an ice-control visit may be considered independently of the 5 cm snow trigger.

Can I request only one snow-removal visit?

Yes, subject to availability. Contact us for a one-time quote rather than a seasonal package.

How do I get started?

Is the municipal snow berm included?

Reasonable municipal snow-berm clearing at the driveway entrance is included in Standard and Premium when accessible. Large, frozen, or heavily compacted berms may require an additional approved charge.
